AREA B3: PREPARATORY CHAMBER

This room was once used by the priests of the temple above to ritually purify themselves before entering further into the crypts to attend to the care of the spirits of the royal family. It features a fountain of holy water at the back end of the chamber and a pit for the ritual burning of incense surrounded by several benches in the fore part of the chamber.
